Necessary things should do before closing business

What a pity if you need to close your passion in running business. Close it, it's not simply of closing the door, liquidating your stock and walking a way. There still have so much important things that you should know.

  • Announce with your employees.

Make sure that, all of the employees know your tough situation that you have to close business. Leaving this news for someone else to decimate is unfair to the people who work for you, but you don't have any more option. You should prepare your feelings to face with many employee's emotions, or sometimes, they will be anger with you.

  • Pay all final payroll, tax or compensating contract for employees.

Don't think that IRS will not come to your house after you close the business. Please complete the procedure with tax, IRS can provide you with the information that you need on how to pay your final payroll taxes. So, it's important that you need to have money to pay these taxes. And other payment is relating to the salary of employee. Deal with them, pay whole for them including compensation benefits.

  • Notify with your customers

You can write a formal letter or prepare some small gifts for loyal customers and let them know you will close your business. Say "thank you" toward customer's belief in your products or service, don't suddenly shut up shop and walk away, it can create bad feelings that can be detrimental to the image of your business, future businesses and even you personally. If necessary, you also introduce new business for your customers. From the beginning to the end, customer satisfaction is what you want to tell with your customers.

  • Complete all needed legal procedures

Depending on the legal structure of your business, you may also need to file a corporate notice that officially states that you are closing. All of needed legal procedure, you can look at business law, then you can simply close your doors. You must also make arrangements to discontinue any benefits such as health and dental insurance, pension plans, and other benefits you have provided to your employees.

  • Close your physical location.

To the manufacturing company, it seems to be more complicated when closing your factory than service company which has only office. In the factory, make arrangement with power, water, gas and other utilities to be shut off . You will need to notify the proper authorities in order to cancel your business permit and any other licenses

1. Create comfortable before going to work

This is a common problem faced by  women, who not only earn money from working at office, but also have responsibility in taking care of their families. They are easily frustrated when every things don't follow their way , such as the breakfast is not delicious, their children is too disturb before going to the kindergarten. Don't  let these issues put pressure for you. You should ask the maid or nanny to help you in the morning to avoid the feeling that you cannot do normal parenting things on your own.

2. Use deep breathing to regulate stress.
Stress is the worst thing that can quickly lead to angry. So, practicing of deep breathing every day, especially at the time when you start working or dealing with problem inside the organization is good method for anger management.

3. Balance work- life

Try to balance your work and your life, don't make anything in the hurry situation, especially having a good and deep sleep. To do that, you should complete everything before 10:00pm, save the rest of time to relax and prepare necessary things for the next day. Before going to sleep, you should take a light message, drink milk. Surely, you will feel good in the next morning.

4. Find the reason why you get frustrated
Everything happens because of some defined reasons. Try to find them out, as you can have solution for the next conflict, and learn experiences from that situation. Don't make these stuffs happen again!

5. Take note on food

In reality, food has the large impact on human's health as well as people's mood, as in the ingredient of food, they have some vitamins or substances which can create strong energy or excited for someone, in contrast they still make people crazy. If you pay a little attention, you can know which food you should use for good health and good mood.

6. Slow down a tough situation so you make good decisions.
One of successful tips to be better anger management is to keep calm when facing with tough situation. Keep calm first, then breathe deeply, and think carefully about happening situation, find the source of information to have good solution for that. Slow down every disputes!

Why the Employee Free Choice Act is Bad for Business

I think in this fragile economic environment, it just isn't well<br/>advised because there's a lot of evidence to suggest that while unions have benefits,<br/>they also tend to increase unemployment. And so, I'm concerned that in this fragile economic<br/>environment we find ourselves in that this piece of legislation is being advanced.<br/>I see two fundamental flaws in the Employee Free Choice Act. First and foremost, it takes<br/>away the anonymity in the union voting process. This has been a fundamental part of the union<br/>authorization process for 74 years and I'm
very concerned that it gives too much power<br/>to unions and gives the ability to coerce individuals to join a union that might otherwise<br/>not join a union.

How do your employees take pride in their work? That is the big question raised to many managers. To solve this problem, firstly you need to understand the importance of this issue. If someone has the motivation to work, they will contribute a lot for what they are worked for .Motivations will help people overcome difficulties and pressures; as well as love their own work. To do that the work that they are doing needs to be honorable initially. Do honest business and you will attract employees that will do the same.


Take a pride in quality of work.
