Small Business Speaker Talks On B-to-B Local Marketing Tips

Ok, so today I thought it would benefit us all if I answered a question around increasing revenue with local business to business marketing.
The reason we're talking about B-to-B marketing today is because at our local small business marketing blog GuaranteedProfit.com, Tammy Devine asked a really great question.
That's a great question Tammy. Your very first step in finding new customers, whether it be B-to-B or B-to-C, is to really first "Know Thy Customer."
It's going to help you create a communication in all of your marketing materials that's going to sift through those that can't afford your material
and speak directly to, and motivate those that can. Knowing your customer really well is also going to help you choose your method to find those customers to present those marketing communciations too;
whether that be at events, or direct mail, or online, or offline, it doesn't really matter, it's depending upon who your ideal customer is.
Now a quick, simple way to shortcut this process is to go ahead and interview your past customers because apparently they've been able to afford your products or services thus far.
I'm going to read a little bit deeper into your question because you said, "How do I find businesses that can afford my video production services?" Can *afford*. Maybe your presenting your services to potential customers or clients, and that's the feedback that you're getting; that they can't afford it, or that's the objection that's coming up.

What Tools do Brands Use to Influence Consumer Behavior

>>Erik: For college graduates coming out of school looking for what`s next, whether that means a job, graduate school, public service, many encounter a negative mindset. What`s your insight into directing them toward a more positive path? >>Simon: It is true. We are unfortunately in a mass media world. Because businesses have not quite figured out how to differentiate
themselves and really to run the most efficient businesses they are trying everything. Negativity, fear, manipulation, and aspirational messages.
All of these messages work and we are bombarded with them. I think just being aware helps you overcome it. To understand the reason the news tells you, "you can die from tap water, tune in at 11." When CNN reports some
horrible thing happening on some conspiracy going on. They are doing that because they need you to tune in so they can drive their ratings and sell more advertising. Understand why all that negativity exists. It is not because they want you to be scared it is because they need you to tune in. They need you to buy. They need you to vote. It works but also makes us a little more crazy.

Get success in Google ad campaign through simple 5 steps

1. Writing a Compelling Advertising.

Writing a compelling ad requires a little bit of research and little bit of time on your part but once you actually get this right, you'll be able to run a very, very good campaign. First thing is you want to be able to find out what keywords people are looking at.

In order to be able to find the right keywords, you'll have to actually type in Google and what you want to do is focus on maybe at least minimum of two words because it's quite hard nowadays to be able to get say one keyword. So remember, be specific and number 2 be relevant to what you're searching for.

2. Linking relevant keywords for your campaign.

When you're writing your ad, you firstly have one of the keywords in your title and a very simple benefit that you want to give them in your ad. Remember you've only got three lines to be able to write this ad. And, in the first line you probably at least want to have a very strong heading something like Sydney Cruise. And, the second line that you want to be able to do is have a benefit such as fast delivery, quick delivery or money back. Something along those lines and on the third line, what you want to include is your website. The other thing you just want to remember too is that each ad only allows you 95 characters so try to keep that within that range.

3. Setup Google Adwords Conversion Tracking.
By installing that, that helps you keep track of how your campaigns are running. Where your highest keywords are coming from and the most relevant keywords to your site, you can know via these adwords conversion tracking. Moreover, you can minimize cost for unnecessary keyword after you see the data on the tracking, and mainly focus on right keyword.

4. The importance of Google Analytics.

It's just basically a tracking tool that allows you to see where you keep visitors are coming from. It's not the same as the campaign tracker or Adwords tracker that I've just talked about but it's actually a very, very good tool to see how many visitors are coming to your site, where they're coming from, the location of them and also how your site is performing as well, too in terms of traffic flow. And, whether or not people are actually hopping on your site, looking on your sales page and then getting converted over to purchasing your product .

5. Planning a winning strategy for your campaign.
And, it's quite simple and all you have to do is to be able to think how you're going to group these keywords together. In Google Adwords, you can setup Ad Campaigns and in these ad campaigns, you can actually group all the words together. And the most important thing is to setup a campaign that's got very close link keywords.

But essentially, what you want to do is that by separating into these different categories of campaigns, it allows you to test which ones work effectively and which ones don't work and obviously those ones that don't work take out the keywords and don't spend your money there. Well, easiest thing to do is starting say couple of campaigns or three campaigns, whatever your budget is for your marketing. And, as time progresses and you get more traffic to your site and more conversions and with all the tracking tools, you'll be able to determine which are the most effective campaigns.
